About: Jhanvi Doshi is a junior at Walnut High School. From a young age, she always knew that she wanted to help people and once she entered high school, it became clear to her that she was interested in the field of neuroscience. Recently, a tragic personal experience occurred, and it was at that moment that she realized that she wanted to pursue this for the rest of her life. In the summer of 2023, her dog developed a neurological condition where his two hind legs became paralyzed. This was one of the scariest times of her life, as she thought he would lose his ability to walk and be in constant pain. Luckily, the doctors helped him heal, inspiring her to help others in similar ways. She wants to ensure that she can assist others dealing with similar conditions. Being a part of NeuroConnect helps her get one step closer to her goal of making sure others have support going through the battles of neurological impairments.
